Explore your future at VA at these events in October

While convention season may be winding down, there are still some great opportunities for you to meet our recruiters. If you’re looking to join our ranks, there are three events where we’ll have recruiters at the ready to tell you all about what it’s like to work at VA.

In October, we’ll be attending events with:

  • American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) on Oct. 1 ‒ 4. San Francisco.
  • American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) on Oct. 21 ‒ 25. New Orleans.
  • American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) on Oct. 21 ‒ 26. Charlotte, North Carolina.

Emergency providers

To start off the month, we’ll set up with ACEP in San Francisco for the organization’s annual Scientific Assembly.

From Oct. 1 – 4, ACEP will offer important clinical updates, as well as the opportunity to explore new tools and devices to help make your practice easier. The event also promises to celebrate emergency medicine’s achievements over the past year.

Professional pain relief

As the end of the month draws near, our recruiters will join ASA for Anesthesiology 2022. From Oct. 21 ‒ 25, New Orleans will play host to physician anesthesiologists and care team members from around the country for an event filled with education, research and shared scientific knowledge.

You can register for this event here.

Internal medicine masters

From Oct. 21 ‒ 26, we’ll be joining ACG in Charlotte, North Carolina, for the organization’s Annual Scientific Meeting and Postgraduate Course.

A recognized leader in instructing GI professionals and the general public about digestive disorders, ACG plans to offer a host of informational lectures and interactive events focused on scientific investigation, education, prevention and treatment.

More than just a job

No matter where or when you connect with our recruiters, you’ll also be able to learn about the benefits of your new VA career.

  • Flexible schedules. Our employees receive 13 ‒ 26 paid vacation/personal days, as well as 13 sick days annually with no limit on accumulation, and we celebrate 11 paid federal holidays each year.
  • Robust insurance options. You can choose from a variety of health maintenance organizations or fee-for-service health plans, and all cover preexisting conditions. Additionally, we pay up to 75% of health premiums, a benefit that can continue into retirement.
  • Competitive starting salaries. We offer our employees strong starting salaries based on education, training and experience. We also offer steady growth, with periodic pay raises that address inflation and local market changes.
