Women Veterans, your VA is coming to you

The first Women Veterans Enrollment Summit will be held in the Southwest Region at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, on July 24–25, 2026.

Are you a woman Veteran who hasn’t yet connected with VA? Or do you know a sister Veteran who might need support? This year, the Center for Women Veterans (CWV) in partnership with the Office of Women’s Health (OWH) is making it easier than ever for women Veterans to connect, enroll and receive the care and benefits you have earned and deserve.

CWV is hosting the Women Veterans Enrollment Regional Summits in five regions across the country, including the southwest, southeast, northeast, midwest and west. At these enrollment summits, you can:

  • Meet other sister Veterans (and bring a battle buddy!)
  • Enroll for VA healthcare, benefits, pre-need burial eligibility determination and more services on site
  • Connect with supportive VA staff, local resources and your community
  • Learn more about what VA can do for you

Why you should attend

Millions of women Veterans across the country haven’t yet accessed VA resources. Whether you’re new to VA, returning after time away or just curious, these summits are designed for you. We’re here to make enrolling easy, help you navigate your benefits in a safe and welcoming place, and to connect you with others who understand your journey.

Boots on the ground for boots on the ground

Attending Women Veterans themselves will be leading the way by reaching out to invite others, share experiences and build trust. You’ll also meet VA experts from the Veterans Health Administration, the Veterans Benefits Administration, the National Cemetery Administration and more.
